For those who want to have an active vacation, you can learn to dive, surf, sail or rent pedal and motor boats, play miniature golf or beach volley ball and many others. Losinj is the best-known sport and fishing centre of the Adriatic. The Sports Fishing Club "Udica" was founded in 1948. The club is well known all over the world in underwater spearfishing and certainly the most known in Croatia. The diver sport center is situated at the very seaside, in one of the most beautiful bays of the Nothern Adriatic archipelago - the bay of Cikat, surrounded by century old pine forrest.

From the end of October to the beginning of November festival called The Days of Olives takes place on Island Losinj. Olive-trees are culture that is cultivated on the Mediterranean from times immemorial. Due to its manifold benefits, the olive is a faithful companion of human beings; even a Roman writer Colimmell from the 1st century wrote "Olea prima omnium abrorum est" - the Olive tree is the queen of all trees! During the days of olives you may participate in the harvest, taste olive oil and meals prepared with olives. One cannot miss a visit to a mill for olives - Torac in Cunski, where olives has been manually processed since 1897.
